Back in the day, our founding member had some of the sickest lettuce in the entire New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). His finely sculpted coiffure was the perfect length; just long enough to peek out from under his helmet and say hello, but short enough to maintain its high-speed-low-drag profile. As with most college students, however, life after graduation required change. Since our founder focused more on partying than hockey during his college years, he had to get a real job, and since he also focused more on partying than academics, that job was an enlistment with the United States Air Force…goodbye hockey career and goodbye beloved suéter de cabeza! Adding insult to injury, our founder was transplanted to the Memphis area where hockey, itself, confuses and frightens most of the population.

No longer able to let his hair flow freely due to military regulations, and with limited hockey interest in his new hometown, our founder created SICFLO HOCKEY as a way to celebrate his flow of yesteryear while simultaneously promoting hockey in the South.
